Maewin and Family Trekking Tour was founded in 2013 by Tai from Chiang Mai and Patboon from Baan Pratu Mueang, as a project to improve the situation of their families, as well as of Patboon’s village. Since then many of the villagers have worked with us as guides, drivers and camp-builders.
Going on a Trek in the mountains of Doi Inthanon and the hills surrounding Chiang Mai is an amazing and unique experience you won’t forget. With us you will not only get close to the northern Flora and Fauna, but also get the chance to meet the local Hill Tribes and learn about their traditions and believes, culture and daily life.
Most of our Guides were born here in the Maewin District and as they have grown up here they are well familiar with the area in which we offer our treks and know all the small paths, hidden waterfalls and all the environment very well.
We are offering you a selection of sophisticated programs with mainly hiking, but also a special combination of Hiking, Elephant Care and Bamboo Rafting. Join us to have wonderful time in unspoiled nature and make your vacation an unforgettable remembrance.
